Crazy robin has scarred all my windows
dirty bird footprints all over the glass
all summer he will tap and crash
each window a new threat
til he has exhausted himself
or found a lover

The original link you put into Mr Linky for OLN did not work so I found this page by searching for Jane Swanson on WordPress. I entered this link in Mr Linky and deleted the faulty one….I have access to do that since I’m tending the dVerse pub for this prompt.
I enjoyed this post…last year my daughter had one robin that kept doing the same thing. She finally found an owl figurine/doll and hung it in the window. Evidently robins are afraid of owls…and that did the trick! I like your idea that the owl is crazed trying to find a lover!

I think he did because he’s not quite so crazy and a lady robin is sitting on a nest built on our ladder in the carport which explains the bird poop on my car.
