Expect your storm
like Noah
faith in an uncertainty
or like Jonah
when you are going
the wrong way
Be ready to cry out
in the lightning like Paul
LORD!
or the disciples
LORD!!!
when they thought
the boat would sink

I think it’s better to be prepared for a storm like that..

Those sudden gales we can’t prepare for. Great biblical imagery.

We expect many storms. They are bigger than we are but they seem on the surface impersonal. I like the crying out in your poem to what is personal and even bigger than the storm.

I like your biblical references…yes, we should expect storms and freely cry out for His help!

A play on words… replacing lightning with lightening (revelation). I know you meant that, because I’ve shared the stories.

Interesting as we most often get caught in the fury of the storm and never see the revelation. LORD help today.
