Rain is falling
branches ready to snap
leaves blow everywhere
he waits to go rake
leaves pile higher
at least clear a path so I wonβt fall down
little at a time will get the job done
πππππππ
Rain is falling
look the sun just came out
grab your rake and go
it might not last long
glistening on tree
how can you take a nap at times like this
it could be the last time we see this sun

dVerse prompt on a pet peeveβ like when my husband doesnβt help raking leaves π and I sit writing this
Procrastination is something I find irritating in others, but alas something I’m very forgiving of in myself. I was searching for the Halloween theme here as I read until the chilling last line. Spooky! Nice duodora form also, candy corn bonus earned!

I find it annoying too but nagging helps a little bit, smiles. Enjoy the warmth of the sun!

Like this piece, familiar trappings. Procrastination comes far too easily to me, and then when my ADD flips, I can work, head down, like a demon β both sides of that coin are exhausting.
