Rhododendron
blooming
purple in its splendor
risk taken
after a flower
the fade
no longer the showcase
of the garden
fertilize
mulch the ground
prepare it for
another bloom

dVerse prompt on risk and remodel— garden is beautiful and then it isn’t
Oh yes….we’ve both gone with shades of purple from the garden today! LOVE the photo. We’ve had rhododendrons in their raucous display of colors in front of our building for the past week. Just when the tulips drop their petals, the lilacs fade, the rhododendrons burst in bloom. Love this post!

Enjoy it while its lasts, even for that fleeting moment, for it is in that moment that a lifetime is made. Blessings~Jason

Such is the cycle of life, we all have our chance to bloom. I like to think that I’m a late bloomer 🙂

It’s a labor of love to tend the garden in its many seasons. I love purple flowers.
