If frogs are indicators
my pond is doing fine
tadpole
frogs growing legs
salamanders
losing their gills
When glaciers move and melt
calving
dead ice
some disappear completely
that they once existed
cannot be denied

Interesting write Jane. Can’t tell if you feel all things are well eith the environment based on your frogs, or if you see negative signs regarding our environment based on the calving of “dead” ice?

That is a very interesting perspective — sometimes, it is easy to forget the greater scheme of things when things in our immediate surroundings seem just fine.
