Under a super moon
Even the tides were on our side
Going out with the starlit
Moonlight change to dawn
Crunch return path
Under the belt of Orion
Trees that have always marked the way
Look different now
Their silhouette on the horizon
Unmoving
———————————————
dVverse quadrille prompt to use the word crunch – the sound of feet crunching the shells on a beach walk
Everything look so different in moon shine…

Jane, this is beautiful (I want to BE there!), and your word count is perfect. Think you can sneak the Quadrille word “crunch” in there somewhere? Even just “Moonlight crunch to dawn” might work well…
I am fascinated by all things Orion, and write of him often, so I super love this.

Yes, when I started writing this the crunch word prompt took me to the sound of feet walking on the shells and how it sounds – then I got lost in the night sky

I like how the silhouette of trees marked the way with the stars. I wonder if I could follow such a trail, but it would be interesting to try.

Beautiful imagery in this one, Jane. The super moon does want us to poem about it!
